New iMac with 5k Retina Display Review

Review report from the Verve

Apple is broadly known for its astounding technological innovations. With their iPhones, laptops, and tablets rating very high, their new iMac came and outmatched most desktops available in the market with a striking 5K resolution retina display. This 27-inch desktop is sleekly and iconically designed and is most assuredly a solid, ultra-high-performance machine. It is very much recommended for videographers, photographers and admirers of a classy looking computer.

It appears as though Apple has chosen not to include a major change in the design of their iMacs. This new all-in-one iMac has a design that is similar to its predecessors, though it looks more gorgeous with a 27-inch widescreen that has a better resolution. It has a solid, ultra-slender aluminium cabinet and frame with an excellent build quality that cannot be compared to any other. It likewise features a thicker black border screen bezel that matches with the Apple Logo fixed at the lowermost centre of the desktop.

This is the most outstanding quality of the new 27-inch Apple’s iMac. With a 14.7m pixels and ultra-high resolution of 5,120-by-2,880, the iMac has, by all means, surpassed the older model of desktops in terms of display. In spite of the fact that it doesn’t feature a touchscreen and has a large frame, it delivers an extremely sharp display that is arguably the best you can get. Its pixel produces the most accurate and uncompromised colour making it a photographer or videographer’s best choice for maximum productivity.

The new Apple iMac features four USB 3 rear-facing ports which perform multiple times faster than USB 2.0. Also, with a 3.5GHz quad-core Intel i5 processor, it functions at very super speed. It also features 8GB of RAM 1600MHz DDR3 memory with room for system memory upgrade that could be up to 32GB. It has a headphone jack with a moderately decent speaker, SDXC memory card slot,10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet port (RJ-45 connector) and two thunderbolts 2 ports. Nevertheless, the retina 5k display cannot be used as another mac’s external monitor. This iMac also has Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11ac Wi-FI wireless connection which aids faster file data transfer.
