CANON EOS REBEL T6 Vs PANASONIC LUMIX FZ300 REVIEW
In July 2015 the Panasonic Lumix FZ300 called Panasonic FZ330 in some nations was officially launched. Later on, in March 2016 the Canon EOS Rebel T6 also referred to as Canon 1300D in some areas was also introduced. These two digital cameras have different body types and specifications that enable them to perform their various functions. The Panasonic FZ300 is a superzoom, fixed lens camera, while the Canon T6 is a digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR). Below is a brief review of both cameras:
The body size of a camera determines the portability. Canon T6 has 129mm width, 101 mm height and 78 mm depth. Panasonic FZ300 has 132mm width, 92mm height and 117mm depth. This implies that Canon T6 is 9mm taller than the Panasonic Z300. Contrary to the FZ300 that has inbuilt lens, the Canon T6 needs a separate lens which when attached, will add up the load and size of the camera. Also, the Panasonic Z300 has a weather-sealed body that protects it against dust, rain, sand etc, while the Canon T6 does not have such a body.
Canon EOS T6 features an APS-C estimated sensor, while the Panasonic Lumix FZ300 operates with a Compact sensor. A camera sensor discovers and passes information obtained to form images. Its size determines the quality of an image. A bigger sensor may cost extra money and make the camera or lens heavier but it offers more creative, colourful and quality image options. The Canon EOS T6 sensor incorporates a 3.2 aspect ratio, while the Panasonic FZ300 features a 4.3 aspect ratio. It also offers a higher resolution with 17.9mp than FZ300 with 12mp.
Panasonic FZ300 has a better advantage over Canon T6 when it comes to the viewfinder. With an electronic viewfinder that has a resolution of 1.44 megapixel, it covers a wider(100%) area of view than Canon T6 which features an optical (pentamirror) viewfinder that covers 90% of the area of view. Furthermore, Its viewfinder has a higher magnification of about 0.70X than the EOS T6 with 0.50X, for this reason, the dimensions of the picture transmitted seems closer to the dimensions visible with the human eye.
CONNECTIVITY AND BATTERY LIFE
The Panasonic FZ300 authorizes improved quality sound recording by attaching an external microphone, this is possible because it has a noteworthy microphone port which T6 does not have. They both have a built-in flash, support Wi-Fi connection but only canon T6 support NFC for easy and quick wireless image transfer.
Canon T6 has a stronger battery life, its LP-E10 battery allows you to take up to 500 shots on a single charge whereas 380 images can be taken on a single charge of the Panasonic FZ300’s DMW-BLC12 power pack.

With better video and sound quality, touch screen and other features referred above, Panasonic Lumix FZ300 seems to possess more points to be declared as the best of the two digital cameras. However, Canon T6 is more recent and still have some unique attributes that may cause some people to choose it over FZ300. Therefore, the best of both camera should be determined by what you would like or need in a camera.
